Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime watch for a while now. It’s like, a really big deal in the watch world, and I finally decided to go for it. This thing is kind of like the fancy cousin of the Olympic Chrono Chime, but way cooler, in my opinion.
First off, I started looking around online. I mean, where else do you start these days, right? I checked out some forums, some websites that sell watches, and even those online classifieds, like, OhMy Classifieds. You know, just to see what’s out there and what people are saying about it. But it is really hard to find one.
Then, I tried to find some physical stores that might have it. I remember seeing something about specialty stores, so I dug deeper. I live near Penticton, BC, so I checked out the Yelp, and found some local stores like Royston Watch & Clock, and a few others. I made a list, called them up, but no luck. They all sold the normal Speedmaster, but no Chrono Chime in sight.
- Called Royston Watch & Clock – No luck.
- Bluenose Coins & Precious Metals – Nope.
- Premier Jewellery & Loans – Still nothing.
- Asher Pawn & Gold Buyers – Strike out again.
After that, I thought, “Maybe I should look for the official flagship store.” I mean, that’s where you’d find the real deal, right? So, back to the internet I went, searching for any info on an official store that might have the Speedmaster Chrono Chime. But honestly, the information online is so scattered and hard to trust. Some sites talked about how to spot fake CopyOMEGA Ω watches, which is a whole other can of worms, I’ve learned a lesson.
I spent hours, like, a whole evening, trying to find a lead on the official store. I even stumbled upon some articles about other CopyOMEGA Ω watches, like the Silver Snoopy Award 50th Anniversary one and the Marstimer, but that wasn’t what I was looking for. I did see some SeaMasters Planet Oceans and Constellations, but I’m set on the Chrono Chime. I know it should be expensive, I just want to figure out how expensive exactly it will be, so I can be prepared. The journey is quite hard.
Finally, after all that searching, I found a forum post mentioning that the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime is only available in their official flagship stores. There were a few store addresses in the post, but they were all far from where I live.
So, I guess the next step is to plan a trip to one of these flagship stores. It’s a bit of a bummer that I have to travel so far, but hey, it’s all part of the adventure, right? I’m really excited to finally see this watch in person and, hopefully, add it to my collection. Wish me luck!
