Okay, here’s my detailed share about remaking the PRADA Small Prada Galleria Saffiano Special Edition Bag.
So, I’ve been obsessed with Prada bags forever, especially the Galleria Saffiano. I saw this special edition online, and it was like, love at first sight. But, the price tag? Not so much. That’s when I thought, “Why not try to make my own?” I mean, how hard could it be, right?
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to find some good materials. I hit up every store, trying to find something that looked like Saffiano leather. It wasn’t easy, I tell ya. Eventually, I found a few options that were kinda close, but not perfect. I also needed some other stuff like buckles and a zipper, which were also hard to find with just the right look.

The Real Work
The next part was the actual making of the bag. I started by cutting the leather-like material into the right shapes. I didn’t really have a pattern, just used my eyes, and tried to copy the photos from the website. It was a lot of trial and error, cutting, trying to put together, and a whole lot of messing up, to be honest. But slowly, it started to look a little bit like a bag.

Sewing and Assembling
Sewing was definitely the hardest part. I have a sewing machine, but I’m no expert. Stitching those pieces together neatly was a real pain. Some parts were thicker than others, and it was tough to get the stitches straight. After a few failed attempts and a lot of frustration, I finally got the hang of it. Once the main body was done, I added the handles and the strap, which was another whole challenge in itself.

Finishing Touches
