Alright, so, I’ve been eyeing that fancy OMEGA Speedmaster for a while. You know, that dream watch that everyone’s always going on about. It’s like, the dream watch, you know? But there’s always been one little thing stopping me – my wrists are kinda small, on the smaller side, you know? So, the regular Moonwatch, it just looks, well, kinda huge on me. Not a good look.
But then, I stumbled upon this thing called the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm “original order”. This watch, it’s something else, I’m telling ya. I’ve seen a lot of watches, but this one, it’s got something special. So, I start digging around, doing my research like any normal person would do, and guess what? It’s the same awesome Speedmaster legacy, just in a smaller, 38mm size. Perfect for my, uh, less-than-average wrists.
Then I started thinking, how does a guy actually get one of these watches? So, I’m searching online and I started to read some people’s opinions. Someone said it’s not his taste, but, well, to each their own, right?
I kept reading, you know, really getting into the nitty-gritty, they say that you can buy it online. But I’m old school, I like to see things in person, feel the weight, you know? And it seems like this one’s got options – automatic or manual movement. I’m not gonna lie, I like the idea of winding it myself. Feels more, I don’t know, connected to the watch, maybe?
And the colors, oh man, the colors! They’ve got this warm cappuccino thing going on, and even a green and gold one. Fancy, right? But me, I’m a simple guy. That classic black and steel, that’s what I’m after. They even mention something about Hesalite glass, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, though.
- First, I went ahead and finally pulled the trigger. I found a store, a real one, not just online, and there it was.
- Then, I tried it on, and bam, it was like it was made for me.
- Next, I’m swiping my card. It was a good experience.
They even told me that some of these Speedmasters have good water resistance. That’s a bonus, I guess, ’cause I’m kinda clumsy sometimes. And get this, they said the first Speedmaster, way back in 1957, was made for car racing, not even space! Who knew, right?
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm. From wanting it, to researching it, to finally getting it, it’s been a ride. Now I just gotta figure out what to do with this watch. Maybe I’ll actually start timing things, or maybe I’ll just keep staring at it. Who knows.
